🚨 City Centre Beat Team – Weekly Round-Up 🚨 It’s been another busy week for the team tackling crime and anti-social behaviour across Leicester city centre: 🔹 Operation PedalFast has now seized 541 illegal vehicles from the city centre – a huge step in keeping our streets safer.
🔹 Officers on cycle patrol arrested a male for drink driving after spotting a car going the wrong way down a one-way street.
🔹 Two males riding illegal e-bikes and scooters were found with large quantities of drugs – both arrested and investigations are ongoing.
🔹 The team continues to run bike register events, helping residents protect their property.
🔹 PCSO Tim has been conducting retail-focused patrols in hotspot areas, supporting local businesses.
🔹 Officers have also been actively patrolling Bath Lane and surrounding areas to tackle anti-social behaviour.
